Due to a generous production grant from the Moving Picture Institute, the team from Mama Rwanda was able to send Director of Photographer, Kasey Kirby, back to Rwanda in August 2014.  Kasey followed up with all the characters we filmed in 2011 to see how their lives, families and communities have transformed, three years after principal photography.  Our goal is to finish Mama Rwanda as a 30 minute documentary by early Spring of 2015, and to launch an international outreach campaign, presenting the film at film festivals, global women’s entrepreneurship programs, and any other venue where the story can make an impact.  We are excited by our partnership with Moving Picture Institute and can’t wait for you all to see the film!
